VOICEWORLD TURNS COMPUTERS INTO HOME-BASED CASH MACHINES
Electronic Match Making and Chat Is Their Latest Application

Brooklyn, NY -- What happens when you add a VoiceVenture and a few phone lines to a home computer?   According to VoiceWorld president Brian (Boruch) L. Berman, you just "Might be creating a cash machine on the largest and most popular information superhighway that talks - your telephone."   The latest application created by VoiceWorld, Kis'n'Tel, "marries" talking personal ads with computer technology to create a unique new opportunity for home-based entrepreneurs.

When Brian L. Berman started out trying to design "the perfect business" for his users, he asked himself what the business would look like.   First, he concluded, you should be able to start it in your own home, to keep overhead down.  Then, you shouldn't need to hire any staff to get it started.  Fixed costs should stay low, so that incremental revenues should go straight into your pocket.  Perhaps most important, you should be able to run it as an absentee owner so that you don't have to quit your day job, and it should have the capacity to build rapidly into creating full-time income while run on a part-time basis.  To him, these added up to service businesses which can run themselves.

Almost ten years ago, when Berman was developing his business ideas, it was also clear to him that computers were becoming more available (and affordable) on which he could capitalize.

The result was a VoiceVenture, which tied together computer and voice technology to create a service business that met all his requirements.  Needing only a small investment (the package starts from $1999.00 and works on older 586-based computers with Windows NT/2000), there are no royalty, rental or service charges. VoiceVenture systems are now creating income from Bangor to Bangkok, as Berman likes to point out.  Once a VoiceVenture system is set up, it can generate income full time, while requiring only part-time administration. Leasing at 0% interest is also available.

Some other prepackaged VoiceVenture applications are:

  •

Information hotlines which are used by community groups, offices and schools these repeat the same spoken material to callers, freeing office staff for more important tasks.

  •

Talking yellow pages for recorded classified ads (homes, apartments, cars, personals, boats) with payments being accepted via credit card in real time.

  •

Automated calling systems which are used by doctors and dentists to notify patients of appointments, and libraries to notify overdue book borrowers.

  •

Auto-order taking with fax on demand/broadcasting. Some mail order firms operate their entire business this way as their owners work full time day jobs.

But Berman sees electronic classifieds as the newest and hottest service to offer. Taking advantage of a booming singles market and a reluctance on the part of many singles to visit bars and other traditional "hangouts," Kis'n'Tel allows new callers to seek partners by leaving messages or sampling a few minutes with each person LIVE through the "FoneBar."  "When I'm tired after a hard day at work, but want to talk to somebody new, I don't have to get dressed up, or hassle with a crowd," one user points out.

"The nicest thing about the FoneBar is that there are no exorbitant `900 number' expenses," Berman points out.  "The setup costs are small, and you earn cash by the minute right from your living room."

VoiceWorld offers it's "VoiceVenture Guide" FREE for Downloading and which contains specifics on voice processing, fax services, technical terms, and sample advertising from it's many users around the world.
